Filmmakers are a creative bunch, there’s no doubt about that. From the moment a student steps through our doors, we see their potential and begin to cultivate their creativity. We get people with all kinds of talents, from folks who’ve amassed a collection of amateur screenplays to students with basic camera skills looking to further what they know and enter the film world. In each case, the student wants to take their creative vision to the next level by studying filmmaking through our hands-on approach.
That hunger and drive for wanting to train to tell a story in the best possible way is what sets students up for success post graduation. The same can be said for alums Brendan Bauer and Ben Murphy, both of whom are paving their own way with independent projects that support not only their interests but also advance their earning potential. We sat down with them to record our latest episode of the Crew Call podcast.
In this segment, they talk to us about how their film school journey prepared them to think not only creatively, but also strategically. The multi-faceted classes taught them how to do the work and to be able to sell it. They now have their own production studio called Rogue and co-host the Booth Talk podcast.
