In 2003  and 2004, Detroit filmmaker Marco Aluia (Motion Picture Institute 2002 graduate) chronicled the now world renowned Movement Festival in downtown Detroit's Hart Plaza. Formerly known as the Detroit Electronic Music Festival, Movement attracted thousands of electronic music enthusiasts and fans from around the world and most notably from Japan, England and Europe. Artists such as Kevin Sanderson, Derrick May, Juan Atkins and even Kenny Larkins are featured in this historic documentary that took three years to produce.  Check out the promo for the Movement documentary film entitled 313 Techno.
