The Motion Picture Production Program
Tuition rate for the 2021 school year is $16,350.00. Tuition includes 21 courses, use of school equipment, LRC computers, and stage facilities.
Students must also pay a $150.00 registration fee.
Tuition does not include the cost of students producing their own films, media storage and recommended reading material.
Applicants accepted into the program are required to pay a $1,000 refundable commitment deposit in order to complete their enrollment. The deposit is deducted from the overall tuition.
Other Expenses (Books and Supplies)
Students attending The Motion Picture Production Program are expected to have a personal computer that has the specifications to edit video. Students can expect to also purchase media storage devices such as hard drives (2TB) or SD cards (32gb). Together these average about $125.00. Students that prefer to do computer assignments remotely (at home) will need to purchase Davinci Resolve which costs $299.00, EP Scheduling software at the student discounted priced of $185.00 and Final Daraft Screenwriting software also student discount for $130.00. (note: prices subject to change without notice). Davinci Resolve editing software does offer a free version, however students need to contact the school to ensure that their personal computer has the specifications necessary for using the software (i.e. fast enough processor and graphics card).
