JOIN US FOR AN OPEN HOUSE ON THURSDAY, AUGUST 21ST
Find out what we mean by “hands-on” when you join us for an MPI Open house on Thursday, August 21 at 6 PM.
You’ll get to tour the campus and visit with our instructional staff, who will guide you through the filming of an actual scene using the same equipment used on a movie set.
Talk to staff and graduates – where you will gain unique insights into how our curriculum works.

Our People
Motion Picture Institute is a school designed by filmmakers, for filmmakers. Our instructors are directors, producers, casting directors, editors and more … all actively working in the field, so they know what YOU need to know to succeed. They’re also willing to help you build your industry network.
Our Gear
Each year MPI invests in new technologies while maintaining its traditional and established film hardware. Our armory includes several cameras, lighting, audio gear, and grip equipment packages, so we can provide students with all their gear needs for their projects.
Camera systems include: RED Dragon-X 6ks, RED Scarlet MXs, RED ONE MX 4.5k, and Canon C100 Mark II digital cameras
